The Assam Gramin Vikas Bank announces the recruitment exam every year for recruiting candidates in the posts of Officer Scale I, Officer Scale II and Office Assistants respectively through online modes of application. The recruitment is open for all the fresh graduates who have qualified in the Common Written Examination held for all the Regional Rural Banks held in March/ September months. Recruitment Exam for Officers and Office Assistants:
The Assam Gramin Vikas Bank releases the official notification for inviting candidates shortlisted in the Common Written Exam for filling up vacancies in the post of Officers Scale I, II and Office Assistants. The vacancies are announced post wise for all the recruitments from eligible candidates. The minimum eligibility for the all the concerned post is Graduation/ Post Graduation in the related field and Matriculation/ Class 10th passed from any recognized Boards or universities for the offered job positions.
Age Limits for the Concerned Job Posts is 21-32 years for Officer Scale II, 18-28 years for Officer Scale I and 18-28 years for Office Assistants respectively. The applicants who fall out of this range will be rejected in the application round of the recruitment.

Norms of Selection:
The selection of all the applicants will be based on their performances in the Interview/ Personality Test held for those who have been qualified in the Common Written Exam, as per TWSS, held by the IBPS for all the Regional Rural Banks. The TWSS (Total Weighted Standard Scores) is the procedure for short listing candidates in the Common Written Exam by taking an average or aggregate percentage of scores as obtained by a candidate in all the sections of the question paper and clearing the minimum cut off as prescribed for each section of the paper for this purpose.
Application Modes:
Online from the website of the Bank i.e. agvbank.co.in in the manner as prescribed. The online registration window is expected to open from the first week of April or the second week of April for all the interested applicants.
