BHU Admissions 2014 for different UG & PG Courses
The Banaras Hindu University will be organizing the entrance exams for the admissions to all the under graduate and post graduate courses for all the eligible candidates in the university. The candidates who wish to participate in the entrance exam can go through the details of the admissions from the information as given below. The university admissions are mostly announced in the months of March/April for all the candidates. The university invites admissions for both Indian as well as Foreign Nationals applying to the university programmes.

Admission Procedure for Banaras Hindu University:
The university conducts an entrance exam for admitting students under different under graduate and post graduate courses of the university held mostly in the months of May/June for all the eligible candidates. The entrance exams are held at the National level and the candidates are short listed on the basis of the merit obtained in the exam.

BHU Entrance Exam:
The candidates in order to enroll themselves for the UG Courses should appear in the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UET) and the candidates in order to get admitted in the PG Courses should qualify in the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PET). The candidates are informed about the entrance exam through admission notifications released by February end at the website of the university.
The candidates who wish to take admissions in the Masters of Technology /Masters of Pharmacy course must crack the GATE Exam and for the Bachelors of Technology course, the candidates should crack the Joint Entrance Exam conducted for this purpose. The candidates in order to take admissions in the Masters of Business Administration or the Master of International Business Administration course should participate in the Common Admission Test held for this purpose. For the rest of the courses, the candidates will have to appear and qualify in the university entrance exams as stated above.
