The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared through an official advertisement published online at the website regarding recruitment of qualified candidates in the post of Constable/ Rifleman. There are about 62390 vacant posts available for Constable/ Rifleman in the following organizations: BSF (Border Security Force), CISF (Central Industrial Security Force), CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal), ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Force), Assam Rifles, NIA (National Investigation Agency) and SSF respectively.

Eligibility Required:
The candidates in order to get selected in the post mentioned must have passed matriculation or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board of secondary education in India.

Age Criteria:
The candidates should lie in between 18 to 23 years as on the date of closing mentioned for concerned recruitment.
Criteria of Selection:
The candidates will be selected through following examinations scheduled to be held for this purpose- Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination respectively.
Criteria of Application:
The application forms should be submitted online at the website of SSC at ssconline.nic.in in the manner as specified. The candidates can register directly through online application links available under “examination” option available at website home page. The candidates are requested to retain a copy of their online filled in applications to be used in future when needed.
Application Fee:
Rs 50 must be paid online from any State Bank of India branches of post offices. There is full exemption for application fee payment in case of SC/ST candidates.
