DOEACC Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Paper Pattern and Course Structure for “O” Level

The NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology), an autonomous scientific society of Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India which has the DOEACC Society running the different courses in fundamentals of computers including its “o” level course taken up by a number of candidates for obtaining professional qualification in the field of Information Technology. The candidates can work in the following capacities after the successful completion of this course: Junior Programmer, EDP Assistant, Web Designer and Lab Demonstrator respectively.

DOEACC “O” Course Details:

Duration of Course: 1 year part time

Total Fee: Rs.15000

Eligibility: 12th /ITI Certificate course of 1 year

Course Structure:

Module Code                   Topics

M1-R4                           IT Tools and Business System

M2-R4                          Internet Technology and Web Design

M3-R4                            Programming and Problem Solving through “C”

M4-R4 (the candidates should choose any one of the following modules):

Application of .Net Technology/ Introduction to Multimedia/ Introduction to ICT Resources/ Practical (Based on M1, M2, M3, M4 module syllabus)

Exam Pattern:

The candidates will have to appear and qualify in the theory examination for each module which is mostly held in the months of June and December respectively for all the candidates.

Theory Exam: 100 Marks

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours

Practical Exam: 100 Marks

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours

Qualifying Marks:

The candidates should score at least 50% marks in the theory as well as practical exams in order to qualify in the concerned course exam. The grades will be allotted as follows:

Failed (<50): F Grade

50%- 54%: D Grade

55%-64%: C Grade

65%-74%: B Grade

75%-84%: A Grade

85% and above: S Grade respectively

The students enrolled in the course will get the certificate of ‘O’ level after successfully qualifying in the above theory and practical exam of all the modules.
