Important dates to reckon for:
• Starting Date for the online registration for getting admission in FMS – 12 Sept 2012
• Final Date for the online registration for getting admission in FMS – 14 Dec 2012
Details of the Seats: Total allotted seats are 200. Seat reservation is grunted for minor category candidates acc to Govt. norm.
Minimum Academic Requirements as mentioned in FMS Application Form 2013:
Applicants interested to get admission in the 2-yrs full time MBA program should possess a minimum of 3-yrs Bachelors degree after 12-yrs schooling. Applicants can be from any discipline. The minimum marks that the applicant must possess to get admission in the 2-yrs full time MBA program under FMS are – 50 per cent in Commerce/ Arts/ Social Sc., 55 per cent in Sc., 60 peer cent in Math/ Stats., 60 per cent in Medicine/ Tech/ Engg (or 6 on CGPA in 10 point scale for Medicine/ Tech/ Engg). Otherwise the applicant should has passed the PG degree along with 60 per cent marks after 10 + 2 + 3 yr. education scheme. Final yr candidates of Graduation or PG degree are also eligible for the course.
Application Procedure as mentioned in FMS Application Form 2013: To get admission in the MBA program under FMS applicants need to go to the official website of FMS: www.fms.edu. They need to register themselves online by just filling up the form of application and depositing the registration fee, RS. 1000/- which is RS.350/- for Schedule Caste & Schedule Tribe & PWD candidates. Admission to the course will be on the basis of the performance in interview, Group Discussion and 2012 CAT score. Applicants who have not appeared in the 2012 CAT won’t be considered eligible for the program.
