Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates in order to qualify in the post of Junior Residents should possess the following educational qualifications:
1.Masters Degree in either of the following: MD/ MS/ DNB/ M.Ch in the concerned disciplines as stated above and a valid and permanent registration with the State medical Council/ Medical Council of India for the post of Senior Residents
2. Bachelors degree in MBBS for the post of Junior Residents

Qualifying Age Limit:
For the post of Senior Residents- the maximum age of all the applicants should be 40 years with effect from 1st January 2014
For the post of Junior Residents- the maximum age of all the applicants should be 35 years with effect from 1st January 2014
Manner of Selection & Applications:
The applicants will be required to participate and qualify in the Walk-in-Interview scheduled to be held in the last week of May 2014. The applicants should visit the concerned venue of examination to apply for the concerned post of the Government Medical College.
Venue of Examination: Office of the Principal, Government Medical College, Haldwani (Nainital) Uttarakhand.
The candidates shall be selected on a contract basis which shall be as follows:
For Senior Residents: 3 Years
For Junior Residents: 1 Year
