IIMC (The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta) was set up as the 1st national institute for Post Graduate course’s study & Management Research by the Indian Government in the year 1961in the month of November in cooperation with the “Alfred P. Sloan School of Management” (MIT), The Ford Foundation and Indian industry, the Government of West Bengal. During its early years, numerous famous faculty formed part of its nub, including Jagdish Sheth, J. K. Sengupta, amid others.

Eligibility Standards:
Students should be in possession with a prior related degree in the field concern from a renowned university having secured requisite marks.
Criterion for Selection:
The assortment of students for admission will be made on the basis of CAT scores and academic scores (which will be scrutinized once the applications are received), the candidates who qualify both will be called for GD / PI. Final selections will be made seeing all the above criteria.
Procedure for Registration:
Candidates need to submit online application forms (which can be obtained from the official website of the University)duly filled and completed in all respect carefully. Applicants after completing the online application form submission, required to take print out of the form generated right after submission and forward the hard copy of application form along with attaching all the required documents to the address of University (as mentioned below). However, the applicants should keep in touch with the registered web portal for the latest updates on admission.
