| B.A./ B.Com./ B.Sc. | Candidates must have cleared their Intermediate (10+2) Exams from relevant stream held by the Board of Intermediate Exams, Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent Board of Education. |
| M.A. English | A pass in Degree Examination securing 40% marks in aggregate under part II; and Must have studied the concerned language either in Part I or Part II of the qualifying examination. |
| MCJ | A pass in BCJ with40%marks |
| P.G. Diploma in Museology | A Pass in MA (AIHC&A) with 50% marks with Museology as one of the subjects of study OR A Pass in MA History withMedieval History paper as specialization with 50% marks. |
| BSW | Candidates must have cleared their Intermediate (10+2) Exams from any stream held by the Board of Intermediate Exams, Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent Board of Education. |
| BBA | Candidates must have cleared their Intermediate (10+2) Exams from any stream held by the Board of Intermediate Exams, Andhra Pradesh or any other equivalent Board of Education. |
| BFA | A pass in SSC or its equivalent. |
| MFC | A pass in B.Com (All streams) with 40% in aggregate under part II. |
| M.Sc. | A pass in the B Sc. with not than less 40% marks(pass percentage for SC &ST candidates) in the concerned Science subjects – Physical Sciences & Mathematics for MPC group OR Physical Sciences & Biological Sciences, for BZC group as the case may be. |
| M. Phil. | Must have passed Master’s Degree in the concerned subject OR in an allied subject securing a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. M. Phil is a full time course and candidates registered for this course should work for a period of one year as full time research scholars. |

Admission Process:
Aspirants who fulfill all the pre requisite eligibility criterion of their desired course of study can download their admission form via University’s official website- osmania.ac.in from the date of announcement of admission 2015-16.
The duly filled and signed application form must reach the prescribed address before the notified last date for successful enrollment along with the following list of documents:-
1. DD or Bank Challan Slip amounting to the Application fee.
2. Copies of all mark sheets
3. Caste Certificate
4. Age certificate
Admission of students will fully rest on the attainment of marks by them in the Entrance Exam held during the 1st or 2nd week of June. Once the assessment is over, shortlisted candidates are called for counseling during the last week of June or 1st week of July.
