The Punjab Technical University (PTU) conducts every year the Common Entrance Test (CET) for inviting admissions of eligible and qualified candidates in different courses including pharmacy, technical and engineering courses in the university and other affiliated colleges. Some of the colleges affiliated to the PTU offering admissions through CET are: Punjab Technical University Jalandhar, Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana, Guru Nanak University Amritsar and Punjab University Patiala respectively. The exam is organized and conducted by PTU in the April/ May months every year.

The Common Entrance Test for the last academic session was conducted on 25th May 2014. The minimum eligibility to participate in the CET is Intermediate (10+2) passed from CBSE or any other recognized state boards of India. Normally, the admit cards of the entrance test is released at least 15 days before the date of exam. The admit cards can be downloaded online from the website of Punjab Technical University in the manner as given here below.
PTU CET Admit Cards 2014 Online Downloading Procedure:-
a) Visit the PTU website at either of the following: ptu.ac.in or ptuexam.com or ptudep.org.
b) Find the active links for downloading admit cards from the website mentioned.
c) Enter your registration details in the downloading window.
d) Download the admit cards generated online at the website page.
e) Print the call letters for PTU CET in order to use it on the examination day.
The PTU CET 2014 Admit Cards can be accessed directly from the website link as given here below. The applicants must however remember their registration number /application numbers in order to generate their admit cards in this manner.
