Details of Eligibility:

– M.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology (Ag.BT): All aspirants must be holding a B.Sc. (Hons.) Degree scoring not less than 50% aggregate marks in Bio-science, Agriculture or any relevant subject OR a B.Sc. (General) degree in the aforesaid subjects scoring not less than 55% aggregate marks.

– M.Sc. in Agriculture and Rural Development (ARD): All aspirants must be holding a B.Sc. (Hons.) Degree scoring not less than 50% aggregate marks OR B.Sc. (General) degree scoring not less than 55% aggregate marks.

– Bachelors’ Programmes: All aspirants should have cleared their Higher Secondary or 10+2 Exam with the related stream from a recognized board of education.

– Masters’ Programmes: All aspirants should have completed their Graduation in the related discipline or field from any recognized college or University.

Admittance Scheme:

The RKMVU offers admittance to eligible candidates for any of the aforesaid programmes only through their merit attained in a written entrance exam and interview as per the admission advertisement. This exam is scheduled on the 10^th June, 2014 from 11 am, whereas the interview will be conducted on 14^th June, 2014 from 10 am onwards. It is a compulsion for all applicants to appear in these exams. Candidates, who do not qualify this Admission Test, would not be entitled for admission in their preferred course.

 How to Apply:

Interested candidates, who accomplish the prescribed criteria of eligibility in the offered programmes, can download Admission forms via its official web site- rkmvu.ac.in. However, aspirants can also obtain the same from the Narendrapur Faculty Centre of the University, located at Ramakrishna Mission Ashram Campus, Narendrapur, (near Main Gate) on cash payment of Rs.250/-. If downloaded from authorized portal, applicants must fill this form precisely, accompany it with a Demand Draft of Rs.300/- in favour of “Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Narendrapur, RKMVERI” payable at Kolkata and sent it before 31^st May, 2014 to the below mentioned address:-
