The Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS), a constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University offers admission in different professional courses including the following: MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc (Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Physiology/ Anatomy) and Physiotherapy respectively. The admissions to the university courses are done based on the scores of national level entrance exams including the following: JEE (Joint Engineering Entrance) exam for engineering courses, CAT (Common Admission Test) for management courses, MAT (Management Aptitude Test) and other national level entrances.
Online applications have to be submitted in order to get selected for the courses concerned. Since, the university takes applicants on the basis of marks obtained in the all India level entrance exams therefore, the admit cards are to be issued only by the concerned conducting authorities. Like for JEE, applicants should visit CBSE website and for CAT concerned IIM website entrusted for the conduct of management entrance test respectively. Applicants must retain their admit card and score cards of the concerned entrance test in order to show it at the time of counseling to get final admissions in SMIMS.

Admit Cards for SMIMS Entrance Exam 2014:
The SMIMS would be issuing admit cards is the applicants have not appeared in any of the national entrance exams as specified and interested to apply through Manipal University Online Entrance Test i.e. MU-OET 2014. The online entrance test shall be done on the basis of e-hall tickets issued online at the website “Admission Section” only. This shall be generated with 24 hours of the online exam schedule booking. The e-hall tickets shall include the following details: e-hall ticket number, courses applied, address of test centre, test date and time respectively.
