TNPSC Exam

 Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission or TNPSC was established in the year 1923 by the then British Government for the purpose of examining of salary structure of the ICS or Indian Civil Service candidates. The objective behind the establishment of this Service Commission was to ensure a fair and transparent recruitment process. The Commission tries to recruit candidates who are perfectly appropriate for a job available in a wide array of vacancies available in various government offices in Tamil Nadu. Criteria for Eligibility:

# The age of the interested persons should lie between eighteen years to thirty years of age if he belongs to general category of candidature. There is no maximum age defined for other caste peoples (who enjoy reservation from Government)

# According to the positions available, the candidates need to have a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer or Computer Science and Computer Application or Economics

# The candidates need to pass qualifying examination from a recognised college and institute

Process of Selection:

# A test is conducted on the basis of computer besides an oral test

# The candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in these tests
