Tripura Public Service Commission or PSC was conceptualised a long way back but it came into existence in the year 1972. The role PSC plays is very vital and it is very important that this role is played fairly. The major objective of this commission is to recruit deserving candidates for a wide spectrum of vacancies available in various departments of the state government. The Commission also offers advice to the government on various issues. Time and again, vacancies come up in various state departments. Candidates interested to apply for the same need to fill Tripura PSC Application Form.

# Concerning Department- Department of Forest, Tripura Government
# Present vacancies- 16 Positions
# Position Breakup-
– Schedule Caste Category Candidate- 01 Position
– Schedule Tribe Category Candidates- 07 Positions
– UR Category Candidates- 08 Positions

Pay Scale:

# The applicants who are selected for the job positions will be entitled to receive Pay Scale of INR 5310 – INR 24000 along with other admissible allowances. The candidates will also be allowed for a Grade pay in the PB-II amounting to INR 2400

Conditions for Eligibility

# In the subjects related to Science and Engineering, the candidate must have minimum Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised college, institute or University with at least one subject as compulsory from the ones mentioned on the website of Tripura PSC at http://tpsc.nic.in/
# Any examination certification equivalent to the Bachelor’s degree is also acceptable
# As prescribed in the rules, the candidates also need to clear Medical fitness and physical standards in screening

Age Eligibility

# The candidates interested to apply for the vacancy need to be no more than forty years of age as on 31st day of December, 2012
# In Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Class Category Candidates- Five Year age relaxation has been given as per the government rules

Application fees:

For General and unreserved category: INR 150
For all reserved category/BPL card holders and PWDs: INR 75
The fees can be deposited in the SBI account as mentioned on the website of the Tripura PSC at http://www.tpsc.gov.in/011212.pdf and the receipt should be attached with the application form before sending the completed application.
