UPTET Counselling 2014 Details of Recruitment Formalities and Selection
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted for short listing eligible applicants in the post of primary and secondary teachers. The exam for the UPTET 2014 was conducted by the UP Basic Education Board on 22nd February 2014 and 23rd February 2014 respectively. The applicants who have been selected in the merit list as declared online will be required to attend the counselling as scheduled by the Board for this purpose.

The Counsellings shall be conducted separately for the Upper Primary and Lower Primary Classes Recruitment Exam qualified applicants. The candidates having more marks and better ranks in the merit list shall be placed in some of the top colleges of UP as compared to other applicants.
Method for Checking the Status of Counselling for UP TET 2014:
The applicants should initially check their results and download score cards from the official website of UP Basic Education Board. The applicants who have been selected in the merit lists uploaded on the website district wise for all the vacancies in the state will be called to report at the venues concerned for counselling. The applicants who have qualified the Upper Primary Levels shall be placed in the post of Upper Primary Teachers (Classes VI to VIII) and for Primary Teachers qualified applicants, the recruitments shall be made for the Primary School Teachers (Classes I to V) respectively.
The applicants called for counselling shall be required to bring the following documents with them at the time of reporting. This includes the following: Educational Qualifications (B.Ed. Mark Sheets & other Mark Sheets), Demand Drafts of the specified amount for payment, E Application Print Out, ID Proof, Passport Size Photograph, Affidavits and call letters for the Counselling in original and other necessary documents as required for this purpose.
