AIPGDET Exam 2014 Details of Admissions, Eligibility & Paper Pattern
The AIPGDET (All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Test) is the qualifying entrance exam for the admissions to the different dental programmes as made available in the Dr. DY Patil Dental College & Hospital, Pimpri Pune. The entrance exam is held every year in the months of January for all the eligible candidates. The courses offered in dental sciences by the Dr. DY Patil Dental College & Hospital are recognized by the Dental Council of India and Government of India. Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates should have completed the bachelor degree in Dental Surgery from any Dental Council of India recognized college/ university along with the Rotator Internships after the bachelor degree of one year for this purpose. The candidates who are in their Internships can also apply in the concerned exam on producing the certificates signed by the Principal/ Dean regarding completion of the Internships and completing their Internships before 31st March 2014/ the year of the exam.
Exam Pattern:
There will be an objective type paper having multiple choice based questions from all the BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) subjects to be answered in the given time frame.
Total Number of Questions: 125
Total Marks Allotted: 125
Marking Criteria:
The candidates shall be given 1 mark for each correct answer marked by the candidates and there will be no negative marking for the wrong answers marked by the candidates.

Applying Details for AIPGDET 2014:
The applicants should apply online at the website of the conducting university i.e. dypatil.ac.in in the manner as specified for this purpose. The candidates are required to read the instructions for online applications before making an online application. All the applicants should pay the examination fee i.e. Rs2000 either through cash / demand drafts drawn in favor of the Dr DY Patil University from any nationalized Banks at Mumbai. The cost of application form is Rs500 for all the applicants payable along with the examination fee.
