AIPMT Admission 2014-15
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) invites medical aspirants for registration in its much awaited All India Pre Medical Entrance Test every year. This year, the AIPMT will be held on 4th May, 2014. The registration in this examination is done through online mode via its authorized web portal i.e. aipmt.nic.in. Criteria of Eligibility:
Candidates willing to appear in this examination must follow the age bar of 17- 25 years. However, reserved applicants will be provided with applicable upper age relaxation as per norms. Apart from this, they must have passed their Intermediate exam (10+2 Pattern) with Science stream, scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate. However, applicants who have appeared in the qualifying examination may also register for AIPMT.
How to Apply:
Aspirants, who accomplish the aforesaid criteria of eligibility, can apply via online mode through the web portal- aipmt.nic.in. Aspirants will have to remit the announced application fee of INR.1000/- (INR.550/- for PH, ST & SC Applicants) before proceeding for the application process. This payment can be made through both online and offline modes viz. Net Banking, Debit/ Credit Card or Canara/ Syndicate Bank Challan. After remittance of this fee proceed with the online application on aipmt.nic.in. Enter all the necessary details on the system generated application form, upload a scanned copy of your recent passport size photo, signature and finally submit this page. Now get a hard copy of this confirmation page and send it to this address through Speed/ Registered post:-

Selection Method:
An All India merit list of the competent applicants will be set on the grounds of attainment of scores in the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test as given in the information Bulletin and applicants will be admitted to MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota Seats and seats under the control of participating State Governments/Universities/Institutions from the said list only by following their Reservation Policies and other admittance criterion.

The AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) annually, for admission to BDS and MBBS programmes in numerous medical colleges across India.
