Funded by the Central Government, the Aligarh Muslim University or AMU is a popular educational institution of the country. The University came into existence in the year 1875 by Syed Ahmed Khan. The purpose behind its establishment was training Muslims for Indian Government jobs. The University also played a prominent role in the Freedom Movement. Sprawled in a vast area, this University offers almost 300 courses. Students from all parts of the country come here to gain excellent education imparted by the University. There are 12 faculties where courses are offered. Interested candidates should fill AMU Application Form 2013.

Eligibility Criteria

# To gain admission in graduate courses in any discipline, the interested incumbents need to pass 10+2 level examination with minimum marks from a recognised board

# To gain admission in post graduate courses in any discipline, the interested incumbents need to pass graduation level examination with minimum marks from a recognised college, University or institution

# The application for first year Bachelor of Technology Course is available on the online interface of the college

# Though forms can be downloaded using online mode, they need to be submitted in person after duly completing it as per the instructions available

# The Application Form that is PDF generated should be printed on a sheet of paper of A4 size

# The Application form needs to be submitted by hand or send it using a registered post or through speed post services

# Along with the application form, application fees need to be paid through a Demand Draft that is drawn in the favour of Finance Officer, authorised for Aligarh Muslim University

# The application form must be filled with great care and relevant data must be entered with great care

# Relevant documents must be attached with the application form

# Passport size photograph must also be pasted on the application form
