The University of Bangalore will be inviting applications for admissions in its new academic session (2015-16) abruptly. Interested aspirants are requested to apply for admission via online mode as soon as the official advertisement for admission is published. This University offers numerous Undergraduate, Post graduate, Diploma, PG Diploma and Kannada Certificate programmes at its campus and other affiliated colleges. Some of the major courses which will be open for admissions in this university are listed below:-
PG Diploma Courses
The admission of deserving students will completely take place on the grounds of the marks obtained in the Entrance Exam conducted by the University. Thereon, eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the base of their presentation in this Entrance Exam. Candidates, who do not qualify this Entrance Exam, will not be entitled for admission in their desired course.
Undergraduate courses- Applicants should have cleared their Intermediate or (10+2) exam for admission to these programmes.
Post graduate courses- Applicants should be in Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline for PG courses from any recognized university.
PG Diploma Courses- Applicants should have completed their Masters in the relevant discipline or field from any recognized college or University.
Diploma/ Certificate Courses– Applicants should be in Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in relevant discipline for PG courses from any recognized university.
Candidates who accomplish the entire academic pre requisite are supposed to download the prescribed application format from the Bangalore University’s authorized web portal- bangaloreuniversity.ac.in. However applicants must remit the prescribed processing/ application fee and submit their application form at any of the University centers.
The Bangalore University was recognized in the year 1964 as an outcome of the University of Mysore and is situated in Bangalore suitably called as the “Indian I.T. Capital “. It was entrenched principally to comprise institutes of higher learning located in Bangalore and the districts of Bangalore, Kolar and Tumkur, which ultimately became a separate university. Originally, the two leading colleges Bangalore, the Central College (CC) and the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) created the center of University of Bangalore.
