Bhatkhande Music Institute University Admission Form 2014 Details of Courses, Eligibility and Application

The Bhatkhande Music Institute University is a deemed university established on 24^th October 2000 by two main stalwarts of music- Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar and Pandit Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande respectively. The candidates can avail admissions in the university courses on the basis of the eligibility conditions as specified for this purpose. The university education is divided into two main levels- the first level comprises of the Pre Graduate Courses (2 years), Graduate Courses (3 Years) and Post Graduate Courses (3 Years) respectively. The next level comprises of Diploma courses in the following: Praveshika, Parichay, Prabuddha and Parangat respectively.

Admission Criteria:

The applicants who wish to enroll themselves in the Bhatkhande University Admission Forms must fulfill the minimum eligibility conditions as specified for this purpose.

Eligibility for Admissions:

For Diploma Courses (Praveshika/ Parichay/ Prabuddha):

The applicants should be Class Vth / equivalent and BMI of concerned diploma course as recognized by BMI in concerned subjects and Class 10^th passed from UP Board / any other equivalent exam at the similar level.

For BPA Course

The applicants should be Intermediate passed from UP Board or any other equivalent examination / Diploma of BMI in concerned subjects of music respectively

For MPA Course

The applicants should be bachelor of Music passed / BPA of BMI in concerned music subjects or its equivalent exam / Graduation in any subject of a recognized university passed with a minimum of 55% marks with BMI or its equivalent examination as recognized by BMI respectively

For PhD Course:

Post Graduation passed with a minimum of 55% marks in concerned subject of BMI or its equivalent exam or any other subject as recognized for this purpose.

Applying Procedure for University Courses:

The applicants who have to apply for the Bhatkhande Music Institute University should fill an application forms as made available from the BMI (Bhatkhande Music Institute) offices in May/ June months respectively. The admission forms should be filled in the manner prescribed and attached with all the necessary documents which includes the application fee challan, Transfer Certificate etc. The applicants should pay the enrollment fee as prescribed with their enrollment forms after they have been selected for admissions on the basis of merits obtained in the entrance examinations held for this purpose.
