The Bidhan Chandra Krishi PO Krishi Vishwavidyalaya conducts the common entrance exam every year to admit students’ eligible in different under graduate and post graduate courses available in the university. The entrance exam for the present session has been scheduled to be held from 21st June 2014 to 12th July 2014 at the university main campus- Mohanpur, Nadia. Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Admissions 2014:
The Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya has invited applications for admission of eligible candidates in its different under graduate and post graduate courses through a Common Entrance Exam. The applicants can check all the details of the available courses, eligibility and selection procedure from the official notification available in the admissions section of the website.

1. PG Degree Courses

Eligibility for PG Courses:
The candidates should be Bachelor in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Agricultural Engineering with at least 6.60/ 10.00 CGPA for the OBC category and 5.60/ 10.00 for SC/ST category of applicants respectively.
2. UG Degree Courses:
a) B.Sc (Agriculture) Hons.
b) B.Sc (Horticulture) Hons.
c) B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) Hons. Respectively
Eligibility for Admissions:
The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination / Class 10th with the following subjects: English/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology with a minimum of 50% marks (for General Candidates), 40% (SC/ST/ PH Candidates) and Intermediate / Class 12th in Vocational Stream for this purpose.
Manner of Short Listing:
The candidates will be short listed on the basis of performances in the entrance exam, eligibility criteria, availability of seats and reservation criteria as specified for this purpose.
Modes of Application:
The application forms can be downloaded online from the website of the university at bckv.edu.in. The candidates should pay Rs 600 (Rs 150 for SC/ ST) as the application fee for Masters Degree Courses and Rs. 500 (Rs 125 for SC/ST) as the application fee for Bachelors Courses respectively.
