The Bharti Vidyapeeth University conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for the admission of candidates in different under graduate medical courses including the following: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), B.Sc Nursing and B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) courses respectively. Name of Exam: BVP CET 2014 (Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test)
Conducting Authority: Bhartiya Vidyapeeth University, Pune
Courses of Admission: MBBS / BDS/ B.Sc Nursing/ B.Pharma/ BAMS/ BHMS
Availability of Seats: 150
Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in the Intermediate/ qualifying exam as well as 50% marks in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. The candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe categories will get a relaxation of 10% marks for this purpose.
Exam Pattern for BVP CET 2014:
The paper will consist of objective type multiple choice based questions on the following main topics:
Physics: 50 Questions
Chemistry: 50 Questions and
Biology: 100 Questions
Qualifying Criteria:
The applicants appearing for the concerned entrance exam should obtain higher marks in the Biology section of the paper or Chemistry section or higher marks in the PCB for Intermediate/ Qualifying Exam or more percentage of marks in the Class 10th in order to get short listed for the concerned entrance exam.
Mode of Examination:
The exam will be conducted in the offline modes only. The candidates will be provided the OMR Sheets to mark the answers.

Cochin, Pune, Vadodara, Varanasi, Navi Mumbai, Bangalore, Allahabad, Indore, Lucknow, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and New Delhi respectively
