About KGMC:
The King George’s Medical University (KGMC) Lucknow has been established in the year 1911.Situated in Lucknow, the university was brought into existence by the combined efforts of the Maharaja of Vijayanagram, Raja of Jehangirabad and Raja of Ayodhya respectively. The university presently has two main faculties offering education in the field of Medicine and Dentistry respectively: Faculty of Medical Sciences and Faculty of Dental Sciences.
Admission Criteria for KGMC:
The admissions in the King George’s Medical College is done on the basis on the basis of the common written test also called as the Combined Pre Medical Test (CPMT) conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh. The candidates shall be selected on the basis of their ranks and position in the merit list prepared for this purpose.
Eligibility for Admissions:
The minimum eligibility for taking admissions in the under graduate courses of KGMC is Class 12th passed with the following main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from any recognized central or state Board of India as prescribed for this purpose.
The qualifying age of all the applicants is 17 years for taking admissions in the concerned courses of the college.
