The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) invites application from eligible candidates to fill different vacancies including the post of Junior Engineers under different disciplines (Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil/ Mechanical). The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is a joint venture between the Government of India and Government of NCT (National Capital Territory). The company recruits every year several candidates in the job profile of Junior Engineer through a common written exam, the details of which have been given below.

Eligibility for Exam:

The candidates eligible should be degree/ diploma holders in engineering from any of the above stated disciplines: Electronics/ Electrical/ Civil/ Mechanical of three year duration.

The qualifying age of all the applicants should be in between 18 to 28 years respectively for the concerned exam.

Exam Pattern:

The recruitment exam shall be conducted in three tiers, where tier 1 will comprise of written tests having two papers, tier 2 consists of the PI (Personal Interview) and Tier 3 for Medical Examinations respectively.

Paper Pattern for Written Exam:

The written exam will be held in objective modes having multiple choice based questions on the following:

Paper I and Paper II

Paper I: MCQs on the following four sections:

General Awareness (120 Questions) 120 Marks

English (120 Questions) 120 Marks

Logical Ability (120 Questions) 120 Marks and

Quantitative Aptitude &/or Discipline specific questions (120 Questions) 120 Marks

Duration of Exam: 1.5 Hours

Marking Criteria:

The candidates will get one mark each for every right answer attempted by them and there will be no deduction for the wrong attempts made by them.

Paper Pattern for Paper 2:

It consists of subjective type questions on the following main topics: Paragraph Writing, Comprehension, and Essay in English Language and Grammar Based Questions etc.

Duration of Exam: 1.5 Hours

Those candidates who qualify in both the papers of the written exam in good merit shall be called to attend the Interview and Medical Exams for the final selections.
