FCI Recruitment 2014 Notification & Details for Assistant General Managers
The Food Corporation of India announces the recruitment every year for filling up the vacant positions in the Assistant General Manager and Medical Officers posts. The candidates are invited through online applications in all the vacant posts for the concerned job profiles. The candidates’ selections are based on the written exam and interview exams respectively.
The recruitment is open for Assistant General Managers in the following main categories: General Administration, Movement, Accounts, and Law respectively. The candidates short listed are appointed on a pay scale of Rs. 20,600- Rs. 46,500 in the following zones of FCI: North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone and North- East Zones respectively.
Recruitment Details of the FCI Assistant General Manager Posts:
The Food Corporation of India announces recruitment in August/ September months for all the eligible applicants in the post of Assistant General Manager. The written exam is held mostly in December/January months but for the last recruitment it has been shifted to 16th February 2014. The candidates who have applied for the concerned job post can download their Admit Cards for the concerned exam from the FCI Website.
Eligibility for Assistant General Manager:
The candidates applying for the Assistant General Manager post should be a post graduate with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university/ institute. The candidates having a degree in either of the following- CA/ ICWA/ CS or Law will be given preference for the concerned job positions.
Paper Pattern & Syllabus for FCI Assistant General Manager Posts:
The written test of the Food Corporation of India is based on Multiple Choice Questions in both English as well as Hindi Languages. There will be a total of 250 questions on the following main sections:
General Aptitude – Reasoning, Data Analysis, Numerical Ability, Computer Awareness, General Awareness, Management and Current Affairs
Relevant Technical Discipline related questions
Duration of Exam: 3:00 Hrs.
Those candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called in the Interview round for the final selection to the post.
