For someone who does not wish to be part of defence, and if he applies for defence jobs then the whole thing comes to nothing as the candidate may not be able to pass the test or so to say never enjoy what he does. Especially with defence, the initial stages are very tough, the candidate needs to go through rigorous amount of training and to make sure that he does, there has to be enough will power needed.
Especially when you are a fresher, and not too sure about what jobs to go with, there are many freshers job options but what you choose depends on your liking. Some people try their luck by writing more than one entrance exam; this option may or may not work for you. Because, the exams that they write belong to those fields that they wish to pursue their career with, hence, they cannot back out once they get through.
