Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Admission Form 2014 Details of Applying, Selection & Courses

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) announces admissions every year from all the eligible applicants in the different courses of the university through a Common Entrance Test (CET). The admission shall be concluded as per the merit in the written test and the eligibility as specified for this purpose. The applicants shall be called to attend the counseling scheduled to be held after the written test at the colleges affiliated to the university and the university campus respectively. The applicants who are interested to apply in the IP University Courses should go through the complete details of the admission process from the information as given below.

Admission Details for GGSIPU 2014:

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts the Common Entrance Test usually in the third week of April for all the eligible applicants. The admission forms can be filled online from the website in the March/ April months in the manner as prescribed for this purpose.The application forms should be submitted online for the courses by the university website at ipu.ac.in. The candidates will be required to pay Rs 1000 for the CET and Rs 100 for submitting the application forms by post after online submission. The application forms in print should be mailed at the following address either through Registered Post/ Speed Post / Hand Delivery as per the applicants’ conveniences.

Students submitting late admission forms shall be barred from the admissions process. Students qualifying in the written test as per the merits shall be called to attend the counseling by the university. Students can find their names in the counseling list from the university website at ipuadmissions.nic.in. The applicants will be required to attend the same in person and put their signatures as well as parents’ signatures on the admission forms filled thereby. There will be two rounds of counseling and applicants will be required to attend both of these. The applicants should pay Rs 5000 in the form of DD for changing the preference of courses, if they wish to do so. The allotment of seats will be done as per the reservation criteria and the seats available according to the merits decided in the CET.
