Haryana B.Ed Exam Pattern 2014 Details of Paper Pattern, Syllabus and Eligibility
The Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak Haryana conducts the common entrance exam for all the eligible candidates wishing to enroll in the Bachelor of Education course program of the university and the different affiliated colleges of the con concerned state. The candidates who qualify in the common entrance exam of the university will be short listed on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the concerned exam. The candidates with good merit are allotted better colleges in the counseling which is held subsequently after the written exam. Those candidates who are preparing for the concerned exam may go through the details of the exam including the paper pattern and eligibility conditions from the information as given below.
Exam Pattern for B.Ed Course Admissions:
There will be an objective type question paper having multiple choice answers. The candidates have to attempt all the questions in the specified time frame as given for this purpose.
Total Number of Questions: 90
Duration of Exam: 1 and a half hour
Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each correct answer attempted by the candidates while there will be deduction of zero marks for wrong answers attempted by the candidates. The candidates are required to answer all the questions in the OMR Sheets as given to them for this purpose.
Syllabus of Study:
I. General Knowledge: Indian and International Current Affairs, History, Geography, General Awareness, General Science, Indian Political Affairs
II.Numerical Ability: Ratio & Proportion, Time and Distance, Compound Interest and Simple Interest, Mensuration, Percentage and Mensuration etc
III.General English: Synonyms and Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks, Comprehension Based Questions and Clause Correction etc
IV.Teaching Aptitude: General Awareness, Knowledge of Teaching and Learning Aids, Attitude towards teaching profession, Examination, Evaluation and Human Relations respectively.
Analogy, Mathematical Operations, Formation of Figures, Direction Sense Test, Embedded Figures, Logical Venn Diagrams, Coding-Decoding, Completion of Sets, Formation of Figures, Logical Sequence of Words and Mirror-Images, Paper Folding & Dot Situation etc
Eligibility for Exam:
A candidate in order to appear in the concerned exam should be either of the following: BA/ B.Com/ B.Sc/ BCA/ BBA etc with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates) under open merit category for this purpose. The candidates’ age should be at least 22 years at the time of admission in the concerned course.
