ICAR- AIEEA Exam 2014 Details of Eligibility, Application & Selection Criteria
The All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) is the qualifying entrance exam for the admission of eligible candidates in the different courses as made available by the agricultural universities under bachelor levels. The examination is conducted every year by the ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) on the 15% university seats at all the agricultural universities in India. The candidates participate in huge numbers in the concerned entrance exam to take admissions in the ICAR- Deemed- to-be-University and other participating institutes.

Eligibility for Exam:
The candidates should be Intermediate/ Class 12th passed from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other equivalent board for this purpose. The candidates should have studied the following subjects as the main subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agriculture, Home Science and Mathematics respectively.
Candidates applying for the Stream- A entrance examination should have passed Class 12th with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture/ Biology/ Home Science subjects whereas candidates applying for the Stream –B entrance examination should have passed Class 12th with the following main subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics respectively.
There will be objective type multiple choice based questions on the following main subjects:
Physics (60 Questions)
Chemistry (60 Questions)
Agriculture/ Biology/ Mathematics (60 Questions)
Total Number of Questions: 180
Total Marks Allotted: 720
The candidates will be penalized in the form of one marks being deducted for each wrong answers marked by the candidates. There will be an addition of four marks for each correct answers marked by the candidates. The candidates should try to attempt only those questions about which they are sure.
