IFS Exam 2015
Union Public Service Commission IFS (Indian Forest Services) Exam 2015 is going to be held on 23rd August 2015. The aspirants who wish to be IFS officers can now use this opportunity and apply before the closing date. UPSC IFS Exams are held every year to recruit Indian citizens for the numerous positions in Indian Forest Services. The other details of IFS Exam 2015 are given below.

Age Bar: –
The aspirant can be of any age between 21 years to 32 years.
The relaxation in age for the reserved categories will be applicable as per the government of India norms.
Minimum Eligibility Required: –
The aspirants who are willing to apply must have a Graduate Degree with one or more of the mentioned hence forth, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences or Zoology or Botany or Forestry or Chemistry or Mathematics or Physics or Statistics or Agriculture or Engineering from an authorized University of an Institution.
Payment of Application Fee: –
The aspirants who wish to apply have to pay an amount of INR 100 as application fee.
The aspirants in ST, SC, P w D and Women Category do not have to pay the application fee.
Procedure of Applying: –
The aspirants who wish to apply can apply Online through the official web page i.e. upsc.gov.in.
The aspirants will have to go through Preliminary Written Exam (Objective type) and Mains Written Exam. On clearing these two Exams the aspirants will be short listed for an Interview round.
i) Preliminary Examination: –
This exam has 2 compulsory papers. Each paper is of 200 marks which are to be completed in 2 hours. The first paper will be objective type and second paper will be descriptive type.
ii) Main Examination: –
This exam has 6 papers as following:-
a) Paper I: – General English (300 Marks)
b) Paper II: – General Knowledge (300 Marks)
c) Paper III: -Any 2 optional subjects for 200 marks each
d) Paper IV
e) Paper V
f) Paper VI
