Qualification/Educational Criteria : Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: Passed SSC (12th) level exam or equivalent qualification from any recognized by the Central Government with Dictation-10 minutes @ 80 wpm & Transcription time- 50 minutes in English / 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.5,200 to 20,200/- + G.P. Rs.2,800/- P.M.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay DD or IPO Rs.100/- drawn in the favour of the DIGP, GC, CRPF. No fees for SC/ST female candidates
Mode of Selection : Selection will be based on Checking of documents, Written Test & Skill Test.

The Central Reserve Police Force popularly known as CRPF is the largest of India's Central Armed Police Forces. It functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs of the Govt. of India. The CRPF's primary role lies in assisting the State or Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and contain insurgency. It came into existence as the Crown Representative's Police on 27/07/1939. After Indian Independence, it became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28/12/1949. Besides Law and Order and counter-insurgency duties, the role of CRPF in the General Elections, held repeatedly during the past few years, has been very significant and vital.
