Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should have the age of 20 to 34 years for 
Senior Sector EngineerChemical & Metallurgical & Chief Depot Material Superintend and 18 to 32 years for Junior Engineer Post as on 01st July 2015.
Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) : 

Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.9,300 to 34,800/- with G.P. Rs.4,600/- for Senior Sector Engineer Chief Depot Material Superintend & Rs.9,300 to 34,800/- with G.P. Rs.4,200/- for Junior Engineer Post Per Month.

Application Fee : 

Candidates have to pay examination fee of Rs.100/- for General category candidates. Exempted fees for SC / ST category candidates through the credit card or debit card paid by challan for that is paid in any branch of State Bank of India or computerized Post Office Pay-In-Slip.
Mode of Selection : 

Selection candidates will be basis of performance in Online Examination.

About RRB Mumbai
The 1st railway on Indian sub-continent ran over a stretch of 21 miles from Bombay to Thane. The idea of a railway to connect Bombay with Thane, Kalyan and with the Thal and Bhore Ghats inclines first occurred to Mr. George Clark, the Chief Engineer of the Bombay Government, during a visit to Bhandup in 1843. The formal inauguration ceremony was performed on 16/04/1853, when fourteen railway carriages carrying about 400 guests left Bori Bunder at 3.30 pm "amidst the loud applause of a vast multitude and to the salute of 21 guns."
