Karnataka plays a major role in the dispersal of education to the deserving students spread all over the country with its pioneering educational institutions offering academic excellence. From different parts of the country, students come here to study and make a bright future. KCET or Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Karnataka Government every year. The students interested in studying in this state need to fill KCET Application Form for appearing in this entrance examination.

Details and Availability of the Application Form

# The Application Form for KCET will be available in the month of March, 2013;
# The form will be available at Principal’s Office or the Institution Head Office;
# The form can be filled by all those who have passed or pursuing 12th standard of 2nd PUC;
# The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the authority at www.kea.kar.nic.in;

Application Fees

# The General Category candidates interested to fill this form need to pay- Rupees Six Hundred and Fifty Only;
# The Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Category candidates interested to fill this form need to pay- Rupees Five Hundred and Fifty Only;
# The candidates who are repeating class twelfth can also apply for this examination;
# Before the second week of March in the year 2013, the Demand Draft must reach the concerned authority along with duly filled Application Form;

Application Form Guidelines

# The Application form needs to be filled using blue or black ball point pen;
# The form should be filled in accordance with the instructions given in a correct manner;
# When filling data related to age or eligibility, care should be taken as the data entered will be final;
# The candidate’s form will be rejected if any discrepancy is found in the form and the documents submitted;
# Photographs and signatures need to be scanned and uploaded on the form and duly attested by the Principal;
# In April third week, 2013, the students can collect their admit cards;
# The fees need to be remitted in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Ex Director, Karnataka Examination Authority;
