NEET Admission 2014-15
The Central Board of Secondary Education invites thousands of students for appearing in the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) every year. All Indian candidates may apply online for the registration in this entrance test through relevant links available on its official web gateway- cbseneet.nic.in. Thus, eager students must read the details given below and be ready with preparations for applying for NEET UG in near future.
The NEET-UG or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test replaced the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves. However, many colleges and institutes have taken a stay order and conducted private examinations for admission to their MBBS and BDS courses. NEET-UG (Undergraduate), for BDS and MBBS programmes, will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. NEET-UG is a succeeding admission test for students who want to study any Bachelor medical (MBBS) or dental course (BDS) or Master course (MD / MS) in public or private medical institutes or colleges of India.
Interested students must strictly follow the age bar of 17 to 25 years for appearing in the NEET UG. However, reserved applicants will be granted with appropriate upper age relaxation. Individuals failing to accomplish this prescribed age bar will not be entitled to appear in this exam.
Interested candidates should have cleared the subjects of Biology/Bio-technology, Physics Chemistry as well as English separately with scores not less than 50% in aggregate during the previous exam. Applicable relaxation of minimum eligibility will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
