| MFA | Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry,Applied Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Preservation, Agriculture, food Technology or equivalent from any recognized University/Institution with a minimum of 50% marks. |
| MCA | Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institution with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation with not less than 50% marks. |
| MBA | A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. |
| M.Tech. in IT | B.E./B.Tech. in IT/CSE/ECE/EE or MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Electronics having secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. |
| M.Tech. in Nanotechnology | B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Biomedical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Electronics & Communication, Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering having 60%. |

Application Process:
Candidates who fulfill the aforesaid eligibility criterions or as per the latest advertisement can only proceed forward for applying for admissions. At first, the new Prospectus and the recommended application form are to be purchased from University Campus. However candidates can also download these from the official web portal- nehu.ac.in. All applicants are liable to pay the application fee charged by the University during this procedure. This payment can also be made through a Demand Draft / Challan slip/ Banker’s Cheque favouring- “North Eastern Hill University”. Once the applicants make a successful payment of this application fee, they are supposed to send the duly filled application form to the university campus before the scheduled last date along with the DD and copies of other vital documents supporting your application.

1. Log on to nehu.ac.in (The authorized website of North-Eastern Hill University).
2. Click on “Admissions” link on the home page and select “Application Form (General)” under the “Downloads” option.
3. Select the link for “Application forms for General & Research Courses (PDF) / (MS Word)”.
4. Click on any of the two links available in different formats and you will have your application form on your screen from where individuals can easily download a hard copy of this form.
