Working from the confines of the office, sitting in front of a computer and that too in an air conditioned room, could be a dream job for many. The IT jobs in government sector were not in high numbers in some years back.

Although, the call for IT professionals has come very late in the government sector, yet there is every opportunity for the students who were interested in serving under the government, but had till now got exasperated in the quest for a job in the government IT sector. Now that the IT sector of the government is looking good, not only the private enterprises will have to devise ways to hold back their incumbent talent, but also have to feel the pressure as the government in any country is a very powerful force.
