The Rabindra Bharati University has been set up by the Rabindra Bharati Act on 8th May 1962 passed by the West Bengal Legislature for this purpose. The university was established in the memory of Rabindranath Tagore for providing admission to the students in different courses available under it. The university courses are available in the following major disciplines: Arts, Fine Arts and Visual Arts respectively. The applicants should appear and qualify in the common entrance exam conducted annually for this purpose.

The university normally invites admission in the months of July/ August ever year. The university recently conducted the entrance examinations for admissions to its MFA (Master of Fine Arts), MA Visual Art and MA Fine Arts courses. The entrance examination for all the concerned courses was scheduled to be held in August last week for all the eligible candidates. The candidates appearing in the university entrance exams can download their admit cards online from the website of university in the manner as given here below.

a) The candidates can log on to the university official website at rbu.ac.in to download their admit cards.
b) The website home page will be having the moving links of admit card available for different exams.
c) Choose the one for which you have to give examination and open the downloading windows.
d) Now enter your “Admission Form Number” in the same window and download.
e) Lastly, save and take print outs for all the university entrance examinations in the similar way.
