State Bank of India formally known as SBI is highly aspiring by the candidates who prepare for the Bank Jobs. To employ candidates in SBI and its Associate Banks, the Bank comes up with the opening in the Probationary Clerk, Probationary Officers, Clerk cum Steno, Specialist Officer Posts every year. Recently, the Bank has finished the recruitment process for PO exam and now it is been anticipated that it will be coming up Clerk Posts very soon. In order to apply for Clerk Positions, Candidate should meet up the eligibility criteria and filled up the application form correctly and in timely manner. SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria:
Aspirants must have completed Intermediate standard with atleast of 60% marks from the recognized Board. The relaxation of 5% is granted to the Physically Challenged, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students.
Aspirants’ minimum age should be 18years and maximum age should not be more than 28years. The OBC and SC/ST candidates are granted the age relaxation of three and five years respectively. Physically Disabled (General Class) persons have 10yrs of relaxation while Physically Disabled (OBC) and Physically Disabled (SC &ST Class) have relaxation of 13yrs and 15yrs respectively.
Process of Recruitment:
The Bank selects the eligible candidates for the Clerk post on the basis of Written Exam and then Personal Interview. The final merit includes marks obtained by the candidates in both the rounds.
SBI Clerk Written Exam Structure:
The written exam is conducted through pen-paper mode and available in English and Hindi medium. The question paper includes General Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge. It is required to qualify each section of the question paper separately and there will be negative credit for each wrong answer.
