Sri Mata Vaishno Devi University invites admissions every year in different under graduate and post graduate courses on the basis of the performances in national level entrance examinations conducted for this purpose. Recently, university has notified for admitting students in the following courses: B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), B.Arch (Bachelor of Archeology) and MA (Master of English) admissions to be held in August last week. The applicants must be ready with all their documents as may be specified for this purpose at concerned university departments.

The admissions to the engineering courses shall be done strictly based on the merit obtained in the Joint Engineering Entrance (JEE) Exam held by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in May 2014. The applicants are required to carry their JEE Admit Cards and Score Cards along with them for final admissions. Applicants who fail to report for on spot admissions and counseling shall be held ineligible from participation in the admission procedure. The counseling is scheduled to be held on the following dates and venues:
Dates of Reporting: 25th August 2014 to 27th August 2014
Venue of Reporting: Sanskriti Kaksh, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, SMVDU
