Tax Assistant Recruitment 2014 Notification & Application Method

The Income Tax Department of the Tamil Nadu & Puducherry region has recently invited for the filling up the vacancies in the post of Tax Assistant under the Sports Quota for the session 2013-14 respectively. The candidates interested to apply in the concerned post should apply before the last date of registration i.e. 24^th February 2014.

There are basically three categories in the recruitment- Inspector of Income Tax, Tax Assistant and Multi Tasking Staffs. Eligibility Required:

The candidates should hold the minimum educational qualifications as stated below for being eligible to the concerned post.

Degree in any stream of three years in graduation or two years in post graduation from any recognized university or college of India or anything equivalent thereto for the post of the Inspector and Tax Assistant

Matriculation or High School passed from any recognized central or state boards of India for the post of Multi Tasking Staff

Apart from this, the candidates in order to be recruited under the Sports Quota should confirm with the eligibility conditions as stated below.

Age Boundation:

The candidates should be lying in the age group of 18 to 25 years with effect from 1^st January 2014 for all the posts offered. The candidates seeking relaxation in the upper age limits will be given as – SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years respectively.
