As per Uttar Pradesh Act Number 5, 1982, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society organises TGT or Trained Graduate Teachers Examination for filling the vacancies of teachers in the schools and Government aided Non-Government Inter Colleges. Through this examination Principals, Head Masters, Lecturers, and LT Grade Teachers are selected. The candidates interested in building a future in teaching line or education sector should fill TGT Application Form.

Eligibility Criteria

# The candidates interested to apply for the vacancies of Trained Graduate Teachers in Uttar Pradesh Schools and colleges need to have a minimum graduation degree in the choice of discipline

# The degree of Bachelor of Education is also needed for appearing in this examination

# Teaching Training Certificate is also required to appear for this examination

Pattern of Examination

# The syllabus for TGT examination consists of papers- General awareness, reasoning, current affairs, general science, quantitative aptitude, Indian Constitution and teaching aptitude

# After written examination, an interview session follows

# Successful clearing of both stages of examination leads to selection for the posts

# The form needs to be filled carefully

# A passport size photograph and scanned signature also needs to be uploaded
