The VMU (Vinayaka Missions University) has been established in the year 1981 by a charitable trust of Salem, “Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavithiru Sundara Swamigai (TKVTSS)” in the year 1981. The university was granted the status of a university by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in the year 2001. The applicants’, who are interested to get enrolled in the university programmes, must appear and qualify in the university common entrance exam, popularly called as the AICEE (All India Common Entrance Exam). The concerned entrance exam provides admissions to different under graduate, post graduate and research courses of university in the following major disciplines: Medicine, Dentistry, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Architecture (based on NATA), Management, Computer Applications, Education, Arts and Sciences respectively.
The applicants were invited for participating in AICEE 2014 by the university from 2nd May 2014 to 27th June 2014. To appear in the admission tests, candidates were sent the admit cards offline for concerned examination at the quoted addresses in application form.
